Due to the cancelation of Friday’s ECAs this past Friday, teachers will arrange with parents about the make up class.

Art and Music Festival

Thank you to the many people who made this festival possible. But the biggest thank you goes to Teacher Parker, for the art, and Teacher Benj, for the music. Our Creator God created us to be creative. And creativity was on full display among BCCI students.

This is one example (and a major one) of how BCCI is contributing to students growing up as well-rounded, confident, and creative individuals. Put all the BCCI individuals together and what do you get?

Music Concert on Friday, 15th of May

1:45 to 2:00: pre-show art auction

2:00 Music Concert, featuring the students of BCCI

Location: PPM2 auditorium

***bring money for the art auction; proceeds used for the BCCI art department

Art Gallery Walk

Visit the BCCI cafeteria to see student artwork. Teacher Parker has transformed the space into an art museum. You must see this!

When: 

Thursday, the 14th, between 2:30 and 4:30

Friday, the 15th, morning or on Friday before or after the concert

At the Music concert, awards will be given to the Art Battle student winners.

Also at the concert, our very first string ensemble will be performing.

BCCI Spotlight

Last week, there was an art competition, called an “Art Battle”. Participating students only had 45 minutes to complete a work of art. Their art quality in such a short time was amazing! See the photos below.

Spotlight on BCCI Community

This past Thursday a group of BCCI dads and other BCCI men represented BCCI in a football tournament. We work hard to develop BCCI community at school. And we are so happy when BCCI community spreads beyond our school. Take a look at the photos below!

Map Testing

• Beginning of May: Students in Grades 2–12 will complete the second round of NWEA MAP testing
• The assessments will cover English reading, English language, and mathematics 
• The tests will take place over several class periods
• Taking the MAP tests allows us to measure student growth in English and Math over time.

Next week: “Art battle” competition during the scheduled chapel time.

Friday, May 15: Parents invited to BCCI

• Morning and early afternoon: Art Gallery Walk in the BCCI cafeteria

• Please return the permission forms back to school before Friday, 8 May. Thank you.

Our Chapel Theme for May is Humility

Make sure that when you come to BCCI you take a moment to look at our sculpture across the street.  The fact of Jesus Christ washing a disciple’s feet demonstrates humility. Jesus is a servant leader. We want to train students to be servant leaders in our world.

Songkran, Friday, 10 April

• Parents are invited to BCCI at 9:30am for a program and then watch the water games.
• Parents: if you leave with your child early, please inform the homeroom teacher.
• If someone else, such as a relative or nanny, will pick up your child, please tell the homeroom teacher in advance.
• School day ends at 11:45.

Administration Notice Regarding ECA Payments

Please be advised that if payment for Semester 2 ECA/ASC has not been received, a final notice will be issued. 
We urge all concerned to settle their payments promptly to avoid any further action or inconvenience.
