Next School Year’s Calendar

We are so thankful that your family has been a part of BCCI this school year. As I think back over the year, I am filled with thankfulness to God. Blessings on your summer!

P.S. Important Parent Reminders

Monitor Your Child While Playing Roblox

  • Roblox is a popular online game, but some games like Mimic and Dead Silence have scary content that could be upsetting for young minds.
  • Please supervise your children when they play Roblox to ensure they have a safe and positive experience.
  • Encourage regular breaks, talk with your child about the games they play, and use parental controls where possible.
  • Another one called Italian Brainrot, feature content that may be confusing or inappropriate for younger children. It's spelt "trallallero trallalà" — a nonsense phrase meant to mimic carefree singing, like a child’s rhyme or when you mumble a melody because you don’t know the words.
About the "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" Song
  • The viral Tung Tung Tung Sahur song has been popular among students, but it can have negative effects on young minds by distracting them and impacting focus.
  • We recommend parents monitor exposure to such content and discuss with your children the importance of balancing entertainment with their studies and well-being

BCCI Chinese Magazine

This year there was a Chinese magazine club. They have worked hard and are now excited to show their work. Special thanks to the lead editor (and founder) of the club, Crystal, and the teacher sponsor, Teacher Wenchong.

End of the Year Tests

Parents please ask your child(ren) about their tests and help them to manage their study and emotions. We want students to work hard but not get anxiety.

Make sure students have distraction free study time, good rest and sleep…and pray!

Keep encouraging them to do their best and that the most important thing is that you love them, not their grades. A little pressure is good, but a lot of pressure is bad.

Blessings,

Pastor Mac
