No School Friday, 25 September
There is no school next Friday. Every year BCCI teachers have a professional development day in September. On this day, teachers will be spending the whole day preparing for our upcoming accreditation visit in January. January is a long time away, but we need to prepare very thorough reports in advance.
This is helpful for BCCI education because teachers will be reviewing what our school is doing great in teaching and areas where we need to improve. The sign of a high quality school is that it is always looking for ways to improve!
Semester 1 Emergency Drill
This Friday (18 September), BCCI conducted our Semester 1 Emergency Drill. Students and staff practiced a “full lockout” (doors locked & continue teaching) followed by a fire drill/school evacuation.
It’s a great opportunity for everyone to practice staying calm, quiet, and prepared while working together as a school community.
Preparedness today helps keep us safer tomorrow!
