ECA/ASC/Sports Announcements

• The classes will end on Friday, May 30, 2024. 
• Please stay tuned for further information regarding make-up classes from your child's respective teachers.
• ASC Kindergarten Swimming Make-Up classes: Wednesday, 4th June, Thursday, 5th June and Thursday, 13th June
• An unrelated item: this past Wednesday, all of the classrooms received a disinfectant treatment. Very clean classrooms!

Tuition Information

The tuition fee Invoice for next school year was sent on May 9th, 2025 . Be sure to check your email inbox. Kindly ensure that payment with discount will be made by June 15th ,2025. Once the payment is completed via transfer, please send the transaction slip as proof of payment to Ms.Mickey (BCCI OFFICE Line) or email to finance@bcciedu.org

Middle School Celebration Event

• Thursday, 29 May, from 4pm to 8pm
• For grades 6, 7, 8 only
• Fun games, dinner & snacks, a movie
• This event is to celebrate and acknowledge BCCI’s first year having a fully established middle school

Parents Invited to MS & HS Chapels

• Parents are invited to the middle school chapel on Monday, 26 May, 3:30 in the cafeteria. Middle School Chapel Band is leading chapel!
• Parents are invited to the high school chapel on Tuesday, 27 May, 3:30 in the cafeteria. High School Chapel Band is leading chapel!

 Keeping a Healthy School

• We all need to work together
• BCCI—
• Cleaning classrooms and public spaces
• Encouraging handwashing
• Encouraging mask wearing if needed
• Parents—
• Keep your child home if he or she has a fever. Your child needs to stay home until being fever-free for 24 hours
• Keep your child home if he or she has cold symptoms: sore throat, cough, sneezing, runny nose
• If symptoms are mild, a mask must be worn at school
• ALSO: if your child needs tissues at school, please send tissues with your child. The school does not provide tissues.

Parent Committee

The Parent Committee is about to complete its first school year.

The committee is looking for some more parents, who love BCCI, to join.

Character Theme of Humility

All students will be challenged to think of ways that they can serve others. Students will draw or write about their ideas. The student work will be posted in the school entrance area soon.

New Basketball Hoops

Our 5th floor gym received a big upgrade this week. Very sturdy basketball poles/hoops were installed.

• Grade 2 to Grade 11: Second round of MAP testing in Reading, Language, and Math. 
• ETC: English proficiency test to determine placement for next school year  
• Grade 11 and Grade 12: AP exams start on May 5th.

Field Trips for primary, middle school and high school coming soon

3rd Quarter Progress Reports

Progress reports will be sent home today (Friday) or on Monday. Parents are encouraged to review the reports to understand their child's progress and areas for improvement for Quarter 4. They are also encouraged to reach out to their child's teachers regarding any missing assignments, homework, or projects.

Beyond the Text is a new podcast project created by our middle and high school students through their ELA (English Language Arts) classes at BCCI. In each episode, students discuss the books they’re reading in class—exploring characters, themes, and real-life connections. It’s a chance for students to think critically, express their ideas, and share their voices in a creative and engaging way.

WASC Accreditation Visit

Our school hosted two visitors from the WASC accrediting agency. They spent 2 1/2 days looking at every part of our school and interviewing many, many people. The purpose of the visit is to make BCCI a stronger school. The ultimate goal is to bless and strengthen your children through BCCI.
