Special Assembly this week

All students enjoyed the work of a sand artist. Machai Ma has spent many years serving in a church. But for the last ten years, he has learned and performed as a sand artist. He used a lighted box with sand to create his work set to music and projected on the screen. It was a peaceful and beautiful demonstration. The message of the artwork was simple and powerful: God is with us when we go through hard times. See photo below!

New Music Teacher

We welcome T Benj to BCCI as our new music teacher. He is full of energy & ideas and is so thankful to be serving at BCCI. T Benj has been teaching for nine years: two years in the Philippines and seven years in China. He also served in full-time ministry for three years with a focus on music ministry.

End of Semester on 23 January

Parents: please check your child’s grade book online. If you have any questions about grades or missing work, please email the teacher.

Primary Grades

• Week 1: (12-16 January) Thai, Chinese, and Other Subjects Tests will be held this week.

• Week 2: (21-23 January) English, Math, Science and Social Studies will fall this week.

Middle School and High School

• Middle School: end of the semester tests with core class exams on 21-23 January
• High School: all exams on 21-23 January with a special exam schedule (to be shared later)

National Mourning

We extend our warmest and deepest condolences as BCCI joins the nation in mourning the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Our thoughts are with her family and the Thai people during this time of sorrow.

International Heritage Day

Out of respect of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the BCCI International Heritage Day will be postponed. The school event will no longer be on Thursday, 6 November. We will reschedule our International Heritage Day to the end of February.
